Ms. DeRosa received her B. A. in Harp Performance from Southern Methodist University under the direction of Susan Dederich-Pejovich and completed her Graduate Studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada with Judy Loman.

Kimberly’s concert programs include selections from her recordings. Kimberly and guitarist Marc Garvin perform as The SNAUFER - GARVIN DUO. They share with their audience their beautiful and unique arrangements of South American and Spanish- flavored music as well as a classical, sacred and broadway repertoire.


                                                INSTRUCTOR


Ms. DeRosa teaches privately from her home studio in Hickory Creek, Texas (just north of Lewisville, south of Denton).

She is available as a workshop presenter and for lessons and coaching sessions via SKYPE.


Upon completion of her Graduate studies in Harp Performance at The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada, Ms. DeRosa accepted a teaching position with The Royal Conservatory as an instructor in harp, piano and theory.


In 1992, she established her private teaching studio in Houston. Many of her accomplished students have earned numerous awards, competitions, and scholarships to acclaimed Universities and Conservatories.


From 1998 to 2006, Ms. DeRosa was Affiliate Artist at Houston Baptist. She is director of the Houston Baptist University Summer Harp Festival which she inaugurated in 2000.


In 2006, she became founding director of Harp Journeys, an annual festival in Houston designed specifically for adults.


From 2006 - 2010, her private studio was on the East Coast.
